Elegance at its finest. Montaner 2018 is the most classic cava you can imagine, the true gentleman of our collection. From one of the best recent vintages, this Gran Reserva embodies sophistication and refinement.

It boasts an exquisite effervescence, with the finest bubbles forming a perfectly integrated stream and a graceful pale golden hue. On the nose, it reveals remarkable complexity, with hints of yeast, peach, and ripe tropical fruits such as pineapple, complemented by a delicate citrus touch that enhances its freshness.

On the palate, it is dry and crisp, yet carries the depth and amplitude expected from a vintage Gran Reserva. Its exceptional balance between structure and vibrancy leads to a long, persistent finish, leaving a lasting impression.

We are the only ones who include a thermometer on the back label, so you always know when your cava is at the perfect temperature. When the thermometer turns blue, it’s the ideal moment to enjoy it to the fullest. As simple as that, as precise as ever!

Minimum 80 months in rime in contact with the yeasts.

Slow aging of the cold wine for 2-3 months in the bottle.
Wine tasting

With good release of very fine bubbles, it is yellow with greenish notes. It is the perfect balance between the autolysis of the yeasts with the hazelnut and toasted notes it provides and the fruitiness of the ripe fruits. In the mouth it is very dry and broad, with notes of aging of the Gran Reserva, with a lot of elegance in the mouth, well balanced. The final sensations persist over time.

Store in the same position as when served, in a cool, dry place away from light. Serve at 5-8ºC depending on the season and personal taste.

As a Gran Reserva cava, it can be enjoyed on any occasion. In complex meals of the new cuisine, of fish such as monkfish with clams or baked sea bass, or fresh seafood or with meat such as roast beef or even baked poultry. Also accompanying pasta, rice or a good bread with tomato. It is the ideal cava to pair with the best Iberian Acorn-Fed Hams, as recommended by ham tasters.
