More than 100 years of history
Tradition, commitment and excellence
Rooted in tradition and commitment, Cavas Jaume Giró i Giró are heirs to a history that dates back to the mid-19th century. Officially founded by Ramon Giró i Mata in 1926, in the heart of Sant Sadurní d'Anoia, the cavas are a reflection of a unique heritage, with an artisanal philosophy based on quality and sustainability.
With a legacy that combines passion and excellence, we have become a benchmark in the world of cava. Our products are born from a meticulous care for the land, made with an artisanal process that respects the environment and enhances the essence of the Penedès. Each bottle is a living example of our dedication and love for wine.
The heart of our story
Our cellars, with their glass-tiled cups and vitrified cairons, are an architectural and cultural treasure. Today, these modernist facilities host art exhibitions and are the place where our most exclusive cavas are born, faithful to the traditional method.
Committed to sustainability
Respect for the earth is our priority. With certified organic farms in Penedès and Priorat, we work with the utmost care to offer products that respect the environment and highlight the characteristics of each territory.
The process that makes us unique
The process of making our cavas combines tradition and innovation. Each bottle goes through a process of rhyming and artisanal pulpit, respecting the old methods that guarantee excellence in each run.
Tradition, craftsmanship and excellence
We are a family business that has been guided by clear values from day one: passion for wine, respect for heritage and dedication to offering products of the highest quality. We believe that each bottle is a sign of our heritage and our commitment to the future.
The territory, our strength
-
Finca de La ConsolLocated in Sant Sadurní d'Anoia, this certified organic farm is the birthplace of our natural wine, without additives and with the pure essence of the territory. It is where the natural and ancestral wine comes from. -
Finca el Cau de les Heures: A place with history, formerly owned by the family of the poet Joana Raspall. A wine that respects tradition and nature is born here. -
Finca del Marmolar: Located in Marçà, in the Priorat, this estate with saulón land offers a promising future for the creation of new organic wines.
Finca de La Consol
When Ramon Giró was little, he went to mass on Sundays with a friend of his and they did mischief, like taking the priest's muscatel. This friend's mother's name is Consol, and she was the former owner of the current farm, which, to honor her, we have named it Consol. It is where the only natural wine of the house comes from, without any added additives.
Finca el Cau de les Heures
This property was bought from the daughter of the poet Joana Raspall. The writer Joana Raspall wrote a book called "El Cau de les Heures", out of print today, in which she explains the vicissitudes of the farmers who, with the cart, carried the grapes from the vineyard to the manor house. It refers precisely to this waterfall and this balm.
Finca del Marmolar
It is a farm in the shape of a saddle with 3 terraces on each side located between ravines where streams are born with saulón soil where we keep a small hut for the tools and a pool of water.
